CONTENT OF THE OFFER AND GENERAL TERMS

Hotel Kastel 1700, hereinafter referred to as the Hotel, markets and sells hotel services according to the published information, description, period and valid price list, and in accordance with the confirmed reservation/concluded contract, in its own name and for its own account. An agency or tour operator may appear as the customer of the service for the end user, and the provisions of the general terms and conditions also apply to them as intermediaries. By sending a reservation request, you confirm that you agree with the General Terms and Conditions of the hotel, which becomes a legal obligation. When providing services, the hotel applies the rules prescribed by the house rules, hotel and catering customs, and in accordance with the current positive legal regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

ACCOMMODATION RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT METHOD

After you send an initial inquiry for accommodation, you are considered a prospective User of the accommodation service. All records are kept under the name of the first named person (if a natural person then the name and surname, and if a legal person then the company name) and the same is considered the Reservation Holder.
The Reservation Holder (if a natural person) must be over 18 years of age and authorized by the other named persons to make a reservation on behalf of all persons listed in the request. By completing and sending the reservation request, the Reservation Holder confirms that he/she is authorized to make a reservation on behalf of all and that the others agree with this, and that they are also bound by the reservation terms and conditions. When making a reservation, the Reservation Holder is obliged to provide all information required by the reservation process.
An accommodation reservation request is considered an open inquiry forwarded to the hotel by any means of communication in written form (website, letter, e-mail, etc.).
Based on the open inquiry, the hotel will make a pre-reservation and will provide the Reservation Holder with the amount of the cost of the reserved service and the terms and conditions of business in writing. The Reservation Holder is responsible for fulfilling all business conditions listed in the pre-reservation, which primarily refers to the payment of a deposit to cover the costs of the reserved services.

A reservation for the appropriate period is valid (takes effect) only after written confirmation by the hotel and receipt of the deposit specified in the specific offer, and with the reservation confirmation sent by the hotel. When the reservation is made electronically, it is valid with credit card authorization. Reservation confirmations prepared in this way are considered provisional until the deposit is due, unless otherwise specified in the offer, and if a copy of the deposit payment is not delivered to the hotel within the specified time period, or the credit card number is not provided for authorization, the offer is automatically considered an expired option.
The reservation holder is responsible for all payments (deposit and the balance of the bill). The balance of the bill (the difference between the paid deposit and the total cost of the reserved services), the reservation holder is obliged to settle no later than the last day of stay in the hotel with mandatory prior authorization of the credit card or payment of a deposit.
At the hotel reception, payment is possible with credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, JCB, Union Pay, Diners Club/Discover, Amex), debit cards (Maestro, V PAY, Visa) and cash (EUR).
By fulfilling the conditions stated in the pre-booking, you accept the General Terms and Conditions of the hotel and the above represents a formal legal conclusion of the contract. The contract will be considered formally legally concluded without paying a deposit and delivering credit card details as a guarantee if the person making the reservation has received written approval from the hotel after the inquiry and then only made a written confirmation of the reservation for themselves or on their behalf for others. In a formal legal sense, the responsibility always lies with the holder of the reservation and cannot transfer their responsibility to the persons for whom they have made the reservation.
Reservations are not accepted from persons under the age of 18. In such cases, we reserve the right to refuse to process the reservation request without giving any reason. The hotel reserves the right to refuse, cancel or change the reservation if the reservation system has been misused or if it was made by a user’s error.
Late check-out is possible only with prior confirmation from the reception and with an additional charge:
late check-out surcharge (12-18h): 50% of the price of one night per room
late check-out surcharge (from 18h onwards): 100% of the price of one night per room
Notes regarding the booking process:

Please note that persons aged 12 and over are considered adults and are charged the full price. When booking accommodation, you are obliged to include children older than the above as adults.
If you wish to change or cancel a reservation, you can make changes in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.
The hotel will prepare an extra bed only if a minimum of 3 paying persons are listed with their full names during the booking process and if these persons are listed during the price calculation, with the prior condition that the selected room type can accommodate 3 persons.
The hotel reserves the right to
