A sua localizaçăo. O bom aproveitamento do espaço. Embora pequeno, tem tudo o que é necessário. O único senăo, é a subida das escadas com o peso das malas. Se houvesse ao menos uma rampa. Estudarem uma soluçăo que facilite o transporte das malas para os quartos.

Very convenient location with a lovely view of the water front as well as the square. Suggest this is added to the details. The staff were very friendly and the directions sent beforehand were very useful.

Does the job.
We stayed in Hotel Kastel on our last night in Croatia, having caught the ferry back to Split from Hvar. For our purposes, it couldn’t have been better – a short walk from the catamaran terminal, hugely convenient for the old palace, and easy to arrange a transfer to the airport in the morning.

We booked a studio apartment (no. 4), and were pleased with it. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable, with a double bed, TV, wardrobe, freestanding air con unit, kitchenette and shower room. It would have been quite suitable for a longer stay, maybe a long weekend or so. The apartment had windows overlooking the Riva, so I would imagine there may be noise from the cafes below at times, but the windows had shutters and double glazing, so this may not be too much of a problem.

Check in and out was efficient and friendly, and the hotel arranged for a car to take us to the airport early in the morning (although because the old town is largely pedestrianised, we had to walk to the edge of the old palace to be picked up). There is a flat rate of 260 kuna if you get the hotel to book the car.

The only drawbacks were that it was slightly tricky to find (keep an eye out for the sign on the first floor window, you have to double back on yourself from the Riva, down a little alleyway); there are lots of steps up to reception and the rooms; the shower room was tiny, and may become a nuisance if staying longer than a few nights. I also noticed that a couple of the rooms appeared to open directly onto the reception area,
so I’d check whether this was the case as it may be a bit noisy.

Great little private hotel. Hotel Kastel is a terrific little hotel right in downtown Split. it’s tucked down an alley way and the staff is very helpful and very friendly. Location is ideal and the price was great!
